Provenance: Loed van Bussel, Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
These unique bowls were used specifically to collect coconut milk, which is extracted by squeezing grated coconut over the bowl. The shape of the bowl provides a funnel effect with the liquid eventually collecting in the deeper centre.
